About Us

What We Do

The Lighthouse for Children Facility

The Lighthouse for Children facility (LFC), located in downtown Fresno, is a centralized hub of initiatives, services, and training spaces supporting young children and their families. Community partners offer families a learning environment where they feel safe, supported, and prioritized.

The facility is owned by First 5 Fresno County (F5FC) and the services are operated by its partners. Please note that the LFC facility does not directly provide services or employment. If you need assistance with LFC programs or employee verifications, please reach out to the LFC partners or tenants directly.

Lighthouse for Children, Inc.
Separately, F5FC created the Lighthouse for Children, Inc., a 501 3(c) non-profit, in order to build the LFC facility. The facility has been in operation for 10 years and now the non-profit entity exists, separate from the facility, to start and continue innovative partnerships for Fresno County including the founding of the Fresno County Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  Learn more about our parent organization, First 5 Fresno County, on their official website.
