Lighthouse for Children is a beacon in the community that promotes early childhood and healthy development, a piece of the puzzle helping children get ready to thrive in school and beyond. At the Lighthouse, families can access experts, shared learning spaces, resources, and other high-quality services centering on those foundational first five years of life.

Who We Serve

If you are a parent or guardian of a child 0–5 years old, you can find services and support at the Lighthouse tailored to your needs. Our programs and services focus on promoting effective prenatal and infant care, healthy growth and child development, and building positive relationships within families.

Fresno County is home to more than 80,000 children ages 0–5, each one representing endless opportunity.

Why We Exist

Fresno County is home to more than 80,000 children ages 0–5, each one representing endless opportunity. Built by First 5 Fresno County in 2015 as a 501(c)3 non-profit with facilities in the heart of Downtown Fresno, Lighthouse for Children provides families with access to resources they need to raise healthy, nurtured, and flourishing children who will reach their full potential.
